Walking the Path

Who writes this book

Bodhi

Bodhi is the name I sign this book with.

I'm 55 and Spanish. None of this makes me a Buddhist teacher, nor do I claim to be one: I have no monastic training and no authority to pass on. What I have is a personal path, walked over many years, in which Buddhism has gradually woven itself into my life without replacing my Catholic faith, but living alongside it.

I came to these teachings out of need, not academic study. The books of Pema Chödrön, the figure of Thich Nhat Hanh, and Tina Turner's testimony about how Buddhism sustained her through suffering were, for me, doorways far clearer than any treatise.

This book was born from that personal path, and from a sustained dialogue with an artificial intelligence I asked for help in ordering, developing, and shaping the ideas I wanted to share. You can read in more detail how it came about in the book's own opening note.

If you'd like to write to me, you can do so through the contact form.
